Sunday Morning Worship
Every Sunday morning at 10.30 AMOur main Sunday morning service is suitable for all ages. It includes the singing of hymns and songs old and new, prayers, readings from the Bible and usually a sermon.
It may also include drama, sketches, poems, PowerPoint presentations, videos and music. This service also regularly includes the celebrating of the Holy Communion, and, on occasion, Baptisms and Membership Services where regular Church-goers are made members of our local church. Occasionally, other special events are incorporated into our Morning Service, for example, once, two of our Church members, Harold and Elizabeth Hearn, renewed their wedding vows on the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. |
The service is led by either a minister (Presbyter) or Local Preacher, with the assistance of members of Frodsham Methodist Church and lasts for around one hour.
The service is followed by tea, coffee, juice and biscuits in the Church Hall to which all are invited to stay for a chat. One local preacher visiting our Church commented that people stayed chatting for so long they looked well rooted to their seats as if they were waiting for the next service!! |
