Our Church has many links with our local community, both social and spiritual.

Locally, our worship leaders and lay workers lead school assemblies in several local primary schools. We hold two or three special mid-week praise services in Church each year where we share a short act of worship and then Afternoon Tea together. To this service we extend a special welcome to all our housebound and less mobile friends from the local care and residential homes.

Each year at Christmastime, we deliver hyacinth bulbs and cards to many local residents who are elderly or unwell, who have experienced bereavement in the past year or have had a difficult time for whatever reason. Church members and our specially commissioned Pastoral Friends do much pastoral visiting throughout the year. We are building strong links with Chapel Fields Nursing and Dementia Care Home in Frodsham since it was taken over by Methodist Homes for the Aged (MHA) in 2012. The Home has a permanent chaplain, regular acts of worship are held and people from the local community are regular visitors.

We have a number of lively social and fellowship groups that meet at Frodsham Methodist Church and run a Lunch Club serving homemade soup and puddings followed by tea & coffee and some kind of entertainment once a month. All are invited to attend this lunch and would be given a warm welcome.

We also have many links with local, national and international charities and do fundraising for them. We are a Fairtrade Church and do much to promote the use of fairly traded products including running a stall selling fairly traded goods and only using Fairtrade tea and coffee on Church premises and at Church events. In addition, each year our Church 'adopts' a charity for whom we fund raise throughout the year. Our Church groups also choose a charity each year and raise money for them throughout the year. For instance, all proceeds from the annual Ladies Group Summer Fayre goes to their chosen charity for that year.

We are an active member of Frodsham Churches Together and a number of our members sit on their Committee. We get involved in lots of other community events each year, like the annual Festival in the Park and Christmas Festival.

John Wesley once said:
The gospel of Christ knows no religion but social; no holiness but social holiness.
We try to always abide by this sentiment.
