Christmas Wreath Making at Frodsham Methodist Church In aid of: The Chester & Delemere Forest Circuit Charity: Cheshire Search and Rescue Come and join us to make a Christmas wreath to hang outside your home this Christmas. Its easier than you think!
On Tuesday 6th December At Frodsham Methodist Church Time: 7.30—9.30pm Cost: £15. Limited places available: ring 07739877823 for details (payment required on booking) There will be a walk leaving Church on October 22nd at 1.30pm. Alan Gerrard is leading the walk and, as we have done several walks in Frodsham, this time we will be going by car to a different starting point. The walk will last about 2 hours and we will return to Church for refreshments. There will be plenty of car spaces for anyone who needs a lift. Please join the walk next Saturday. Starting at 2.pm, a film for children aged 7 and over. Starting at 7.pm, a film for Year 6 and above. Toddlers finishes on Thursday July 28th and re-opens on Thursday 25th August, 2016.
The last Messy Mice is on Monday 18th July and will start again on 19th September, 2016. Come and Join the celebration on Wednesday 23rd December. Afternoon Tea and Messy Christingle at 3-3.45pm followed by a Christingle Service at 4pm. Feel free to drop in for either or both parts. 'Time to Remember', a special service of thanksgiving for those we have loved and lost, on Saturday 5th December at 3pm. This service is especially for anyone who may have been bereaved and would welcome the opportunity to share in a special service of remembrance.
Everyone is very warmly invited to come along. Tea or coffee and cake will be served in the Hall afterwards. We will have a number of Christmas gift tags available on which we invite you to write a message of love, or just simply a name, and to put it on the Christmas tree in Church, where it will remain throughout the Christmas season. Open to all primary school children. Limited places so please register. Cost £6.00. This year our Holiday Club is followed with tea and an opportunity to make your own Christingle and take part in the Christingle Service. This Service helps to raise money for The Children’s Society and celebrates God’s gift to our world in Jesus. A collection will be taken during the service for the Children’s Society. June 20th: no Messy Outing. The next walk is on July 18th. We have enjoyed discovering the paths around Frodsham and on July 18th we are meeting at church at 5pm, walking down Bradley Lane , through the woods to Top Road park where we can play and eat a picnic if you bring any food with you. If it has been raining the woods can be a bit muddy.

A Holiday Club where you can ….. Explore the meaning of Christmas through games, crafts, food and quizzes. On Monday 23rd December from 10am till 3pm, there will be an Chriatmas Holiday Club available at Frodsham Methodist Church. Open to all primary school-aged children. The walk across the bay will coincide with the low tide, providing an opportunity for seal watching before returning. Walkers are asked to make a minimum donation of £5 per adult or use the walk as an opportunity to raise sponsorship. It’s a great walk and it would be good if a group from our Church supported this event. Andrea is going and will have some space in the car. We go desiring to give hope and pleasure, but leave having gained far more ourselves.
This year there are two opportunities to join in. On Tuesday 18th December at 2pm we will be singing at Meadow Court for 45 minutes or so. Then on Thursday 20th December we start at Chapelfields at 5.30pm (meet at Church at 5.15pm for transport), followed by Hillcrest at 6.30pm and Newton Hall at 7.30pm. Do join us at any or all of these venues. Enthusiasm (and stamina!) is more important than ability to sing! If you can play an instrument, even better.
