Rehearsals for the Carol Service Choir will begin on Wednesday 26th October 2011 at 7.00 pm at Church.
At present we have a number of ladies and men who have volunteered but it would be nice if we could have a few more, especially men, so please if you fancy a sing come along on the night or for more information contact Valarie Ball. You do not have to read music or learn anything by heart, just an enjoyment to sing is all that’s required!
The next Cell Group Meeting is on Sunday 30th October at 4pm. All Welcome. Come and discover what God is saying to us through the Bible. It’s a good way to learn from each other too. Lasts just over a hour.
10-11.30am. The next Messy Mice is on Monday 31st October. Some older children are not in school on this day. All are welcome to come along.
Just to remind you of two dates that are coming up: this Sunday is 0930 Live! where we will be looking at how we prepare ourselves for important events, such as weddings and feasts.
Then next Sunday 16th October, we are meeting at our summer campsite near Beeston again, but this time there's no camping involved. We shall be meeting at 1.30pm (so after lunch) at the site, then walking along footpaths to the Ice Cream Farm near Tattenhall, and back, after an ice cream and time in the play area. It's about 2 miles each way of easy-going walking. We will then share a meal around a campfire - probably chilli with rice and baked potatoes, with alternatives for children.
Below is a map of directions to the site. Brassey Green is situated on the Tiverton/Huxley B Road (SJ 527607 Sheet 117 OS 1:50000, CW6 9UG) 3.2 km from Tarporley. Please bring dry wood with you on the day.
If you would like to come to this event, please let us know so we can plan the catering. We will be asking for a donation to cover the cost of the food and for the use of the site. Feel free to bring your own drinks.
We look forward to seeing lots of people there.
