Harvest Supper and Quiz in the Church Hall, starting at 6.30pm. Fun and friendship for all our Church family. No need to bring a full table, we can form teams on the night.
Sunday 25th September
Harvest 0930 Live! led by the team, at 9.30am, followed by bacon butties!
Harvest Morning Worship including Holy Communion led by the Rev'd Pat Christopher, at 10.45am, followed by refreshments.
Harvest Evening Worship led by Mrs Liz Holmes which is to be a special Songs of Praise, at 6pm, followed by refreshments.
Wednesday 28th September
Harvest Ecumenical Fellowship Service led by Rev'd Pat Christopher, at
2.30pm, followed by Afternoon Tea in the Church Hall.
Our Harvest Festival this year is also Back to Church Sunday and we extend an especially warm welcome to those who have not been to Church for a while to come along to any of our services or harvest supper this year. We look forward to seeing you again.
After 0930 Live! we will be serving tea, coffee, juice & bacon butties and also refreshments after Morning and Evening Worship. Do stay for a chat and a chance to meet old-and new-friends.
At all our services we will receive gifts of dry and tinned goods which will be given to ‘Save the Family’. A cash offering will also be taken for the work of the Methodist Relief and Development Fund which gives help and support to those overseas.

Our next Lunch Clubs will be on Wednesday 5th October and Wednesday 2nd November.
Please note that, due to the Christmas Tree Festival preparations, the December lunch will be a week later than usual - 14th December.
We hope you will come and join us for a light lunch and a chat. Lunch will be served at 12.30pm prompt, with doors open to welcome you from 12 noon. The suggested donation is just £3, and transport within the Frodsham area can usually be arranged for those who need it.

When Advent begins we will be having our usual Sock Tree in the church foyer, so if you can bring new socks of any size, shape or colour, they will adorn the tree and be given to Save the Family after Christmas.
We will again be using a symbol on our church Christmas tree in lieu of sending cards to friends in the church.
For each symbol we will accept a donation for the work of Christian Aid.
Rehearsals for the Carol Service Choir will be starting soon. Rehearsals will be for about one hour a week, either on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. If you are interested please contact Valarie Ball, also if you can please state your preference of time (early or later evening) and either Tuesday or Wednesday so that we can go with the majority. We are also looking for the services of a volunteer pianist!
This year the Candlelit Carol Service will be on Sunday 18th December at 7pm.
Come to see the decorated trees in our Church during the Festival Weekend and enjoy games, stalls, hot and cold food in the Church Hall.

Joint Circuit Event & Worship at Caldy Valley Neighbourhood Church, Chester: Sunday 9th October, 4.30 till 6pm
This is the first major event to celebrate, in anticipation, the merging of the Chester and Delamere Forest Circuits in September, 2012.
All are invited to come along - there will be informal time, refreshments and an act of worship.
There will be no Evening Worship at Frodsham.

We are starting a book club, to meet on a monthly basis, at Church.
The intention is to discuss a book that we have all read, with occasional visits to the theatre, cinema, or watching of DVDs. If you are interested in joining a book group, the first meeting will be on 12th October at 7.30pm at Church. At this meeting we will discuss the types of books that we would like to read. So if there are any books that you have read and enjoyed, or that you would like to read, then please bring along some ideas!

Our Pastoral Visitors and Friends play an important role in the life of the Church keeping contact with members and those on the Community Roll, offering support and encouragment,
There are two course at Wavertree Christian Fellowship.
One is about the Old Testament on 17th September and the other about the New Testament is in January. This is a very good course and enables you to see how the Old Testament fits together. I learnt lots when I did this. If you want a lift please talk to me.

The cost of the seminar is £14 per person which includes seminar manual. A payment form does need to be completed, however if any of your members would like to attend, if they book their place in advance payment could be collected on the day, made either by cheque or by completing a direct debit form.
