As we will not be able to commemorate Remembrance Sunday in the usual way this year, we have decided to once again decorate the floral cross with knitted/crocheted poppies as a symbol of remembrance and hope. We have the poppies from last time, but are hoping to add some more. If you would like to contribute, below is a pattern, but please feel free to use any other as we would welcome different styles and sizes. If you would prefer to make a poppy out of card/tissue paper instead we will use these to decorate the foyer. A box will be left in the foyer to collect the poppies. If you aren’t able to attend church please let me know and I will arrange a doorstep collection. Thank you. Carolyn Frayne Senior Church Steward ![]()
