Due to the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, there is no Messy Mice on 4th June.
The next Messy Mice is on Monday 18th June when we will be celebrating our first year with a cake! We look forward to seeing you then. As ever, any queries or questions or for more information contact Andrea Ellams.
Hope everyone's enjoying the wonderful weather. It's 0930 Live! this Sunday when we'll be talking about how God sent his Spirit, which is considered as the birth of the Church, so come along and join the celebration!

If you have a Junior Mission for All (JMA) collecting box please make sure you let Pat Worrall have it back for counting by the beginning of August. Many thanks.
‘in the image’ is an exhibition of pieces from the Methodist Art Collection, to be held at the Wesley Church Centre, St John Street, Chester, from 22nd September to 27th October.
This renowned collection includes works by Graham Sutherland, Elizabeth Frink and Edward Burra – people I’ve spoken to who’ve seen it say how brilliant it is. The event is aiming to be more than just an art exhibition. There are already links with local schools and a programme of school visits is planned, with relevant material available for teachers. There is an exciting programme of workshops, including an art appreciation course and other events involving creative writing, music and drama as well as visual art.
Wesley is looking for volunteers to help with a wide range of tasks, including transport, painting boards, etc., in readiness for setting up the exhibition; stewarding; helping with school visits. There are two briefing sessions for prospective volunteers, on Thursday 5th July at 2pm or Thursday 12th July at 7.30pm.
By September we will be in the same Circuit as Wesley, the new Chester and Delamere Forest Circuit. It would be good to give as much support as possible to our new friends. There is more information on their website or in the flyer here, and there will be more details nearer the time.
Help is needed with the bedding plant delivery on Friday 11th May afternoon 2.30pm onwards to sort out orders. We have this down to a fine art now after many years of practice so an hour or so with many hands should see the job done.
Plants will available for collection from Church on Saturday 12th May between 2pm and 4pm for anyone who has ordered them. Many thanks in anticipation.
A very late reminder that there is no 0930 Live! tomorrow (Sunday 6th May). This is because there were five Sundays in April, so tomorrow is only the 1st Sunday in the month. 0930 Live! is on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Hope to see you there next week..
