Our next Lunch Clubs will be on Wednesday 17th October (please note this change of date) and Wednesday 7th November. Lunch will be served at 12.30 pm prompt, with doors open to welcome you from 12 noon. Please come and join us for a catch-up with our church family. Transport within the Frodsham area can usually be arranged for those who need it. The first meeting of our New Intercessory Prayer Group will take place in the Church Foyer on the morning of Monday 1st October, starting at 09:30 am. A short Afternoon Harvest Praise Service will be held on Tuesday 25th September at 2.30pm led by our new Minister, The Rev'd. Denise Harding. It will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity to meet up with old friends. This is a special service when we especially invite our more housebound friends or those who cannot make it to Sunday Worship along and transport can often be arranged. Everyone Welcome On Saturday 22nd September a small group of people will be decorating the Church from 10am in preparation for our Harvest celebrations. Last time this event was held, it was a fantastic event. The Rev'd. Denise Harding, will hold a short service of Dedication of our recently completed Quiet Garden on Sunday 23rd September at 10.30 am. Please assemble in the garden, or if wet, in the quiet room by 10.25am. All welcome. The September Messy Church is on Friday 14th at 5.15pm. As ever, all welcome. We are thinking of changing the Messy Church event from a Friday to another evening to suit popular opinion! If you come to Messy Church or would like to come on another night an indication of what night would suit you better would be helpful. Ms Harding will be celebrating at our monthly 9.30am service of Holy Communion and then there will be a Circuit Service beginning at 6pm, though you are invited to come from 5pm. This will be led by our Chair of District, Rev'd. Peter Barber. This will be both a service of welcome and also to celebrate the joining of the Chester and Delamere Forest Circuits. In addition, Mr. Ken Jackson, a local preacher from Chester, will be leading our usual 10.45 Worship. All are invited to this special day in our Church and we look forward to seeing you. Walk and Tea
On Saturday 22nd September we are meeting at 2.30pm in the car park (which is free) at the Whitegate Way to walk along the disused railway. We will be walking for about 1 to 2 hours, depending on how fast we go. The path is smooth and flat so it is suitable for all ages and bikes and pushchairs. All welcome. Afterwards we will be going to Oakmere Methodist Church for tea (from 4pm). Come for the walk, or tea or both. More details to follow. Our Harvest Festival services this year are on 23rd September, to coincide with a Methodist Church national event called the Big Welcome. 9.30am 0930 Live! 10.45am Harvest Celebration 6.00pm Harvest Songs of Praise Harvest Lunch After the 10.45am service, at around 12.15-12.30pm, there will be a Harvest Bring and Share Lunch.
