If you would like to make a donation to this appeal for people who are affected by the severe drought in East Africa, there is a basket today in the Foyer. The basket will also be available for donations next Sunday.
If you would like your donation to be Gift-Aided, please put it inside one of the blank envelopes provided and write your name, address and postcode in block capitals on it. ‘Buggy walks’ now walk round the lake in Delamere - meeting in the small 'Barnsbridge Gate' car park (turn right after Hatchmere Lake) on the 5th August and then in September. All welcome. Our next Lunch Clubs will be on Wednesday 3rd August and Wednesday 7th September. We hope you will come and join us for a light lunch and a chat. Lunch will be served at 12.30pm prompt, with doors open to welcome you from 12 noon. The charge is £3, and transport within the Frodsham area can usually be arranged for those who need it. To aid catering, we ask that you add your name to the Reservation List in the Church foyer by the preceding Sunday evening, or ring Marg Jacks instead. If you need a lift to be provided, please put your phone contact number alongside your name. For more details please contact Marg Jacks on stewards@frodshammethodist.org. The next Messy Church will be this Friday, 15th July starting at 5.15pm till around 7, though as usual feel free to drop in whenever is convenient. The theme is Messy Trees and we will be enjoying some great craft activities, tea followed by drinks and cakes and a short act of worship in Chapel. This will be the last Messy Church till September, so we look forward to welcoming you. Next Sunday, 17th July, 2011, there will be an envelope collection at all services to collect donations toward the work of the Methodist charity Action for Children.
