What better way to celebrate 60 year’s of Queen Elizabeth II's reign than with good food and good company?
The ‘Big Lunch’ is a nation-wide initiative (started 4 years ago) to encourage people to have lunch with their friends and neighbours. This year it coincides with the Diamond Jubilee weekend. We are inviting you to join in with this at Frodsham Methodist Church by coming to a ‘bring and share’ lunch after the 10.45am service on June 3rd. Don’t worry if you’re not able to bring much food – there’s always plenty! And why not invite your friends to come along as well? If you have any relevant memorabilia from the last 60 years, please bring it along (labelled with your name) to form a display. To gauge some idea of numbers, it would be helpful if you could sign up on one of the lists, either in the Hall or in the front vestibule. Alternatively, Speak to Liz Holmes or e-mail enquiries@frodshammethodist.org. |
