Frodsham Methodist Church is staging a ‘hustings’ on Thursday 30th April as the General Election campaign begins in earnest
All six of the Candidates for the Weaver Vale Constituency have been invited to take to the stage for the meeting at Frodsham Methodist Church, Kingsley Road, Frodsham, WA6 6BA. The evening will be chaired by The Rev'd. Denise Harding, Minister at Frodsham Methodist Church.
Doors will open at 6.30pm for refreshments and people will have an opportunity to submit a written question for the candidates. All questions must be submitted by 7.15pm.
The questions will be put to each candidate - due to election rules separate questions are not permitted to be asked of different candidates.
The hustings begins at 7.30pm
Monday 30th March - Morning Prayer, 9.30am
Tuesday 31st March - last session of Lent Course, 7.30pm
Wednesday 1st April - Soup Lunch at 12noon followed by brief reflection (booking required for lunch with Marg Jacks)
Thursday 2nd April - Maundy Thursday Holy Communion, 7.30pm
Good Friday - Church Fish and Chip Supper, 5pm, followed by singing of Holy Week hymns
Easter Sunday -
7am, Sunrise Service of Witness on Frodsham Hill followed by breakfast at Frodsham Methodist Church
9.30am, Easter morning early Holy Communion (Rev'd. D. Harding)
10.45am, All Age Worship (Rev'd. D. Harding and Mrs. E. Holmes)
6pm, Songs of Praise (Mr. E. Gregory)
