A Holiday Club where you can ….. Explore the meaning of Easter through games, crafts, and quizzes. On the 3rd of April 2012 from 12 noon till 4pm, there will be an Easter Holiday Club available at Frodsham Methodist Church. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and an empty ice cream tub. Joint Circuit Messy Choices at Frodsham Methodist Church Sunday 4th March, 2012 Starting time 4.30pm for crafts and activities, Worship at 5.15pm followed by tea Everyone welcome – all ages! A time to chat, meet and make friends and chill. Come for all or part of the time. There will be crafts, bread making, parachute people, decorating stones, build a tower, an obstacle course and the chance to decorate a mural. This will be a chance for the new Circuit (made up of the Chester Circuit and Delamere Forest Circuit) to meet together for worship.

Tuesday 21st February, we are holding our annual PANCAKE PARTY Starting at 3.30pm. Pancakes are served on a pay once and eat as many as you like bases. Pop in and enjoy some yourself! This Sunday is an 0930 Live! one and we shall be celebrating our 8th birthday - come and share some cake!
Following the very successful 'Open Doors' in early January, there will be another session in Half Term on Tuesday 14th February 1.30-4pm. This is an opportunity to meet with friends over coffee whilst the children play and get involved in craft activities. Then at the end of Half Term on Friday 17th February, it's Messy Church. This will be a good end to the holidays, with tea provided as usual.. 5.15-7pm. Shrove Tuesday is the following week and we shall be holding our annual Pancake Party straight after school on Tuesday 21st February. Not sure how many pancakes we made last year but we cooked continuously for 3 hours! Hope you can make some of these events, The 0930 Live! team Frodsham's service for Women’s World Day of Prayer this year is entitled "Let Justice Prevail". This service will take place at St Laurence Church in Frodsham on Friday 2nd March, 2012, starting at 7:30pm. The speaker will be Mrs. Liz Holmes. The service will be signed for the deaf. All are warmly invited to attend.
The next Evening Men's Social meeting will be a Film Night on Tuesday 21st February. As we'll be without our glorious leader who's back in China, suggestions for what to go and see (or what to watch at church on our very own big screen) to Simon Kelly in the meantime, please. THE MIX YOUTH EVENT on SUNDAY 26th FEBRUARY – 4pm START (ADMISSION FREE) This includes a mix of workshops: DANCE WORKSHOP (led by professional dance students), ARTS WORKSHOP (led by a community artist), DRUMMING WORKSHOP (using various percussion instruments - led by a qualified drummer) PLUS EVENING ENTERTAINMENT with THE IDENTITY & A LOCAL ENTERTAINER (to be confirmed) VENUE: WESLEY CHURCH CENTRE, ST. The Church have let us have the first two lower beds in the new garden this year, so we can grow are own vegatables. If you are keen to get involved we will be meeting on Wednesday 15th February (Weather permitted ) to start to dig the soil ready for planting, and decide what to grow. Bring a spade and gardening gloves if you have some. |
