New OPAL (Older People Active Lives) Club
A new OPAL (Older People Active Lives) Club is to be set up in Frodsham, hopefully from February 2015. It will be based in the Methodist Church every Tuesday, 10.15-3pm and will cater for 15 older people living in the community who are lonely and at risk of social isolation. OPAL will provide a fun day of activities and a home cooked dinner. Transport will be provided. The club will be run by volunteers supported by a paid member of staff and they are looking for volunteers to help with cooking, driving, leading sessions and sitting on our committee. Volunteers wouldn't be expected to work every week and all expenses will be paid. Some training is offered. Are you interested in joining? For more information contact Zoe Blocksidge, OPAL Club Organiser on 07562 619 275 or email email@example.com
