The Friends of Halton Hospital have bought two new echo-cardiograph machines using money partially raised by the family and friends of the late Olwen Blasbery.
A plaque honouring her 20 years of service has been placed on one of the machines.
The collection at the Circuit Service at Kelsall Methodist Church on 10th July for the Methodist Relief and Development Fund (MRDF) was £373.50. Thanks to all who gave.

The new Autumn/Christmas Traidcraft catalogue is now available, and can be obtained from Elizabeth Holmes. Last year a number of items sold out very quickly, so please order early to avoid disappointment.
Divine Chocolate Advent Calendars
These are always a very popular item. This year by buying in bulk I have managed to obtain them at the reduced price of £3.50. They will be available on the Traidcraft stall from the beginning of September.
The stall after 0930 Live! and the 10.45am service will be available on the second and fourth Sundays of the month as usual. In addition, I will try to hold it on other Sundays as well in the autumn. Christmas cards will be available from the beginning of September.
