 The BBC will be celebrating the forthcoming publication of the new Methodist hymn book with two programmes scheduled to broadcast on 26 June.
There is a ‘singing the faith’ themed Sunday Worship service on Radio 4 at 8.10am followed by a special edition of BBC One’s Songs of Praise in the afternoon. The programme will reflect upon what makes a truly inspiring hymn and features interviews with some of those involved in the production of the new hymn collection. For more details visit click here.  The weather was very wet but this did not dampen the spirits of around 40 of the faithful who braved the elements, to be entertained and accompanied by the Frodsham Methodist '9.30 Live' Music Group. Rev Pat, Liz and Andrea led the worship for us and members of all the Churches in Frodsham took part in a lively service in spite of the inclement weather.
 Over 70 friends shared worship and fellowship together at last Wednesdays Ecumenical Service.
Thanks to Harry and Camille for their musical talents, to the ladies for providing refreshments and to all the drivers who gave up their time willingly. Frodsham Methodist Church are now listed on www.searchchurch.co.uk. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the collections during Christian Aid Week in any way. The total collected in the area of Frodsham we were collecting in was £1,400 before Gift Aid is added.
