A very Happy and Blessed Christmas from all at Frodsham Methodist Church.
Pictures from our Christmas Service this morning at 10am when we shared the Good News of Christ, and our presents, with others!
Calling all young artists! We would like you invite you to draw a Christmas picture to be used as the front cover of our Christmas Tree Festival programme. The drawings need to be on A5 size paper and should have your name and age clearly marked on the back. Please hand in your entries to Andrea Ellams, Carolyn or Gail by 27th November. Thanks
Frodsham Methodist Church were delighted yesterday, Sunday 12th June 2016, to host visitors at all three worship services. At 0930live! we were joined by visitors from Manor House Primary School and guests from Ghana. At 10.45 we welcomed our Superintendent Minister, Rev'd. Neil Stacey, who preached and celebrated Holy Communion.
And at 6pm there was a Circuit Service attended by Methodists from all over Chester and this part of Cheshire where we celebrated the work of MHA (housing and care charity for older people) and launched the Circuit Project for 2016 to 2018. The project, which will run from June 2016 to January 2017, aims to raise funds and awareness for Cheshire Search and Rescue. We thank God for these expressions of his love in connections with community, country and internationally.
A few photos from a great afternoon - bouncy castle, activities, food and fun - and a visit from the ice cream van! We praise God for the joy of friendships and relationships.
Fun making Christingles this afternoon and we nearly managed to finish all the cakes and sandwiches at the afternoon tea! Followed by Worship exploring the meaning of the various elements of the Christingle.
Wonderful to see so many people, 165 in total, worshipping God and fellowshipping together at the Community Nativity Service this morning. For more information about all the events for families and young people at Frodsham Methodist Church, do get in touch.

This is an exciting document which sets out the new vision and mission statement for our Church, and how we hope to deliver it over the next five years. Please take time to carefully read it and let Mr. John Holmes, Mr. Alan Carter or any of the Leadership Team know if you have any queries or want more information. A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal.
At our Gift service on the 15th November 2015, we will be dedicating Christmas Shoe Boxes which will be transported to children around the world. Take a look on the Operation Christmas Child Samaritan's Purse website for details about what you can put in a shoe box.
You can help in different ways:-
1) Finding a shoe box.
2) Collecting items to fill a box and either fill one yourself or bring items to Church to fill boxes together.
3) Use the knitting patterns on the website to make something for the boxes.
4) Donate £3. Each box needs £3 to help with transporting costs.
5) Come on Wednesday 4th November at 3.30pm and Thursday 12th November at 7pm to help decorate and fill boxes.
