December 2010 saw the beginning of something new in Frodsham. Twenty-eight Christmas trees filled Frodsham Methodist Church, each being decorated by different local groups, organisations and businesses ranging from local primary schools to Devonshire Bakery and Frodsham & District History Group to 4th Frodsham (Overton) Scout Group.
Over 650 people visited Frodsham Methodist Church's Christmas Tree Festival between Friday 3rd December and Sunday 5th December, 2010. The trees were decorated by 28 local organisations and businesses (in no particular order):-

The programme cover competition was won by McKenzie Macmillan and Alex Stanway of Weaver Vale Primary School, Emilia Andrews and Sadie Bullock of Frodsham C of E Primary School and Emily Cleland, Alice Hughes and Robert Hughes of Manor House Primary School. Well done to all who took part!!
In addition, there was a mouse hunt, crafts and face painting for children and stall, live music and refreshments available. There were a number of special services over the weekend where local people came together to worship God and celebrate Jesus as the Risen Lord surrounded by all the trees, and of course to find out who won the find a Mouse Competition and the best decorated tree!!
The tree voted the best dressed by visitors to the Festival was the one decorated by Frodsham C of E Primary School (Overton) and the runner-up was Frodsham Mother's Union. Well done!!
